We have lovely FELTED FLEECES for sale from our Valais Blacknose lambs and sheep.

We have partnered with another breeder/fiber artist who handcrafts our sheep’s SHEARED fleeces into felted fleeces. Long, curly locks are seen on the fleece top, while the underside is felted to hold the fleece together. One sheared fleece can be made into one felted fleece. Felted fleeces can be used as throw blankets, seat cushions, rugs, wall-hanging art and conversation pieces. Add a cozy touch of Swiss Alpine styling to your home with attractive fluffy felted fleece throws or cushions. Maybe you met the sheep – at a show or at the farm – that produced their fleece for you to enjoy!

Wool is a renewable resource. Valais Blacknose sheep grow 12 inches of wool per year! Our sheep are sheared twice per year, producing two fleeces for two felted fleeces per year. Wool is natural and sustainable. Wool is a natural thermoregulating fiber, unmatched by man-made fabrics. Environmentally friendly too, wool is recyclable and biodegradable. Using our sheep’s wool for use in our homes is a sustainable alternative to synthetics, and a bit nostalgic.
