This pair of ewes, owned and shown by Valais Iowa, were the Grand Champion and Reserve Champion Purebred Ewes at the 2023 USA National Valais Blacknose Show and Grading.  Highland Kitty was selected as the Supreme Champion for the show.  Both of these females were awarded Maximum Points and were two of the first three Valais Blacknose sheep to be awarded Maximum Points in the United States. We also have the full sisters of Highland Kitty and Iowa Koala in our breeding program - Highland Katniss and Iowa Kaleidoscope, respectively.

This pair of ewes, owned and shown by Valais Iowa, were the Grand Champion and Reserve Champion Purebred Ewes at the 2023 USA National Valais Blacknose Show and Grading.  Highland Kitty was selected as the Supreme Champion for the show.  Both of these females were awarded Maximum Points and were two of the first three Valais Blacknose sheep to be awarded Maximum Points in the United States. Won his class and graded -1 at the 2023 USA National Valais Blacknose Show 
Iowa Kevin was selected as Grand Champion Purebred Ram and was then selected Reserve Supreme Champion.

Kevin is also a full sibling to Laurel Highland Farm's Maximum Points yearling ewe, Laurel Highland Bubbles. 

Iowa Jellybean

Jellybean, raised, owned and shown by Valais Iowa and was the Champion F3 Breed Up Ewe and was also selected as the Grand Champion Breed Up Ewe at the 2023 USA National Valais Blacknose Show.  We are excited to see the future lambs from this winning line of breed up sheep.  We have Jellybean's mother and grandmother both still active in our breeding program.
