Highland Kitty, owned and shown by Valais Iowa, was the Grand Champion Purebred Ewe and Supreme Champion at the 2023 USA National Valais Blacknose Show and Grading.

Highland Kitty was the Grand Champion Purebred Ewe and Reserve Supreme Champion at the 2024 USA National Valais Blacknose Show and Grading. 

Highland Kitty was the Grand Champion Purebred Ewe and Reserve Supreme Champion at the 2025 USA National Valais Blacknose Show and Grading. 

In 2023, Highland Kitty and Iowa Koala were awarded Maximum Points. Both owned and shown by Valais Iowa, they were two of the first three Valais Blacknose sheep to be awarded Maximum Points in the United States.

In 2024, Highland Kitty was the first Valais Blacknose sheep in the United States to be awarded Maximum Points TWICE!!

In 2025, Highland Kitty was the first Valais Blacknose sheep in the United States, and the second outside of Switzerland, to be awarded Maximum Points THREE TIMES!!!

In 2023, Iowa Koala and Highland Kitty were awarded Maximum Points. Both owned and shown by Valais Iowa, they were two of the first three Valais Blacknose sheep to be awarded Maximum Points in the United States.  

Iowa Koala was Reserve Champion Purebred Ewe, behind our Highland Kitty, at the 2023 USA National Valais Blacknose Show and Grading.

“Star" is our first spitti.  “Star” was the Champion Spitti at the 2024 USA National Valais Blacknose Show and Grading.  "Star" won her Spitti class at the 2023 USA National Valais Blacknose Show.  “Star” has a strikingly beautiful black and white patterned fleece with curly locks.  “Star” is always a favorite with Valais enthusiasts.

Jellybean, bred and raised, owned and shown by Valais Iowa and was the Champion F3 Breed Up Ewe and was also selected as the Grand Champion Breed Up Ewe at the 2023 USA National Valais Blacknose Show.  We are excited to see the future lambs from this winning line of breed up sheep.  We have Jellybean's mother and grandmother both still active in our breeding program.
